Using the LōF app, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries and other food businesses can quickly upload their "LōFF's" (Left Over Food Forms) to the Bread Basket, the dynamic virtual feed of excess food available to pick up.

 

Local shelters and Food Programs can browse the Bread Basket to look for available pickups, click on the various LōFF's in their feed.  Organizations looking to pick up food can filter by the distance they are willing to travel and are able to view more information about the available food (size of the pickup, type of food, location, pick-up time.)

 

If the organization is interested in the LōFF, they can click 'Reserve' and that LōFF is then theirs to pick up at the designated address and time! The donor will be notified of which shelter/program has 'Reserved' their post, and is then provided with further contact information.
